Built upon the foundation of the Gladiator 493, the 571 Blade introduces distinctive features that enhance both form and function. A reverse swim platform sofa creates an inviting social space at water level, while built-in foredeck seating and generous side fender lockers in the cockpit reflect practical thinking. The one-piece hardtop and double-curved windshield—a notable engineering achievement—provide weather protection without compromising the open cruiser aesthetic. Circulation flows naturally across the deck, with just one step from the aft sunpad to the foredeck and a completely stepless cockpit. Performance credentials are compelling. The base configuration with twin MAN 850 HP engines delivers 37 knots, while higher power packages push well beyond 50 knots. Canados has developed three propulsion options—shafts, surface drives, and outboards—each extensively tank-tested across a speed range from 30 to over 60 knots to ensure refined handling throughout the performance envelope. The vacuum-bagged E-glass hull, combined with carbon fiber components and a complete Awlgrip finish, strikes a balance between structural integrity and weight optimization. While designed as a day cruiser, the 571 Blade offers surprising versatility for extended use. A tender garage accommodates a 2.8-meter jet RIB, and the protective windshield shields the cockpit in challenging conditions. The interior reflects an automotive-inspired approach, yet allows Canados' craftsmen to showcase their expertise through custom woodwork and detailing. Three standard layouts are available at no additional cost, with complete freedom to specify materials, finishes, and fabrics according to personal preference. With a 1.30-meter draft and CE (B) certification for offshore passages up to 200 miles, the Canados Gladiator 571 Blade accommodates 12 guests and two cabins.
