Xplorer Xplorer 80
About this yacht
The Xplorer 80 represents Damen Yachting's most ambitious expression of long-range exploration to date. At 80 metres, this motor yacht builds on the proven SeaXplorer platform while pushing the boundaries of what's possible for adventurous owners seeking genuine autonomy at sea. With capacity for 24 guests and systems designed for extended passages, she's engineered to reach destinations that remain inaccessible to conventional yachts. What distinguishes the Xplorer 80 is the breadth of personalization available from the outset. Azure Yacht Design refined the exterior lines, preserving signature explorer elements—the distinctive bow profile, observation lounge, enclosed wheelhouse, and crow's nest—while introducing a more contemporary aesthetic. Owners can alternatively select exterior designs by Espen Øino or Harrison Eidsgaard, each bringing their own interpretation to this capable platform. Interior concepts are equally diverse. Harrison Eidsgaard's inaugural design draws from Manhattan loft living, emphasizing long-term comfort through intelligent storage, refined materials, and spaces that adapt to life underway. Winch Design offers an interpretation inspired by Jules Verne's classic adventure tale, with flowing forms that echo natural landscapes. Reymond Langton's approach plays with light and shadow to balance the yacht's adventurous character with sophisticated refinement, incorporating precious materials, contemporary art, and bespoke furniture throughout. The technical capabilities match the ambition. A below-deck helicopter hangar with hydraulic lift system comes standard, including maintenance facilities and fuel capacity for over 40 hours of flight time. Twin tender garages accommodate multiple tenders and water sports equipment, providing the tools to explore once you've arrived. The lower deck Beach Club spans the full 14.25-metre beam and can be configured to individual preference. Deploy the balcony wings and the space extends dramatically over the water. Standard configuration includes a dedicated dive centre to starboard, while alternative layouts maximize gym facilities or create an open-plan environment when the helicopter hangar is omitted. Each version incorporates wellness areas, spa facilities, and direct water access. Port side wellness areas feature dedicated massage rooms and well-equipped gyms with ocean views. The flexibility extends to social spaces—whether you envision a contemplative sanctuary or an entertainment venue, the Xplorer 80's structure accommodates both. This is a true explorer yacht that doesn't compromise on refinement. The Xplorer 80 delivers the range, systems, and versatility required for serious expedition work, wrapped in an environment tailored precisely to how you choose to use her.
