Aston Martin Yachts

Aston Martin’s AM37 powerboat collaboration with Quintessence Yachts.

Aston Martin’s official 2017 media release states that the 37-foot AM37 was the first powerboat developed by Aston Martin and Quintessence Yachts.

The published project was a day cruiser with a cabin that could be adapted for overnight use. The official release describes rear seating for up to eight people, a wraparound windscreen made from a single piece of sculpted glass, carbon sliding deck panels, a retractable carbon-fibre bimini, a swim platform and an integrated helm environment. It also describes two announced versions: AM37, with estimated 45-knot performance and a choice of twin 370 hp diesel or twin 430 hp petrol Mercury engines; and AM37S, with an estimated 50 knots from twin 520 hp Mercury petrol engines. These figures and features are historical manufacturer release information, not current availability, specification guarantees or independent performance tests.

The AM37 is a specific Aston Martin and Quintessence Yachts collaboration, introduced as a 37-foot powerboat rather than a continuing Aston Martin shipyard range. Its day-cruiser arrangement combines open social seating with a cabin adaptable for an overnight stay.

A buyer considering an AM37 should examine the boat as an individual project: cockpit use, weather protection, machinery and support will matter more than assumptions drawn from the automotive badge. Its published design features explain the intended experience, while the condition and configuration of any actual boat require separate scrutiny.
