AvA Yachts presents a focused programme of long-range explorer motor yachts. Its current fleet navigation separates the Voyage90 from the Kando 85, 90, 110, 120, 130, 130XL and 150XL, and groups the Kando range into medium, large and XL series.
The Kando 90 page illustrates the published approach at model level. AvA describes it as a 28 m explorer yacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure; the page attributes exterior styling, interior styling and naval architecture to the AvA Yachts team. It also lists configurable décor, five double guest cabins, four decks and a stated 5,200 nm range, while its own table cautions that equipment and features can change or may not be included in the purchase price.
The AvA projects represented here span 25.70 m to 47.70 m, making crew organisation, stores and the duration of remote passages progressively more important.
AvA's Voyage and Kando series are organised around explorer use, with several Kando size bands. The Kando 90's steel hull and aluminium superstructure illustrate one construction route, while the builder also takes responsibility for styling and naval architecture on that model.
The owner must decide how much passage-making capability, guest space and operational independence the yacht needs. These requirements should be checked against each model's range, machinery, crew accommodation and project stage, rather than assuming that every yacht carrying the explorer label has the same capabilities.
