Azimut Yachts

Italian motor-yacht builder with Seadeck, Fly, S, Magellano, Verve, Atlantis and Grande series.

Azimut is an Italian motor-yacht builder whose official heritage places the origin of the company in 1969, when Paolo Vitelli began a sailing-yacht charter business.

The official all-models presentation shows a broad, series-based motor-yacht programme. It groups current models into Seadeck, Fly, S, Magellano, Verve, Atlantis and Grande, and presents filters for technology labels including Carbon Tech, Hybrid and Low Emission Yacht. Individual series have distinct intended use and technical configurations. For example, the brand material presents Seadeck as a hybrid family-motor-yacht series, while the heritage page describes Magellano as a crossover format and the S series in a sport-yacht context.

Azimut's Seadeck, Fly, S, Magellano, Verve, Atlantis and Grande series cover markedly different motor-yacht uses. Technology labels on the builder's site add another layer, but a carbon, hybrid or low-emission designation has to be read in the context of the model carrying it.

An effective shortlist begins by choosing the kind of time the owner wants aboard: open-air day use, family cruising, longer passages or larger-scale guest accommodation. Length, deck plan, propulsion and the actual technology package can then be compared within the relevant series rather than across the entire fleet indiscriminately.
