Boesch Boats Yachts

Swiss mahogany motorboats and open runabouts.

Boesch is a Swiss builder of wooden motorboats founded in 1920. The yard is known for combining mahogany construction with modern laminate technology, producing runabouts whose clean profiles and varnished surfaces remain closely associated with the brand. Its current range spans compact day boats and larger models designed for relaxed cruising and watersports.

Boesch's wooden runabouts place finished mahogany surfaces and an open-cockpit experience at the centre of the boat. The 860 Monaco Deluxe and larger 970 St. Tropez offer different amounts of space for guests and time on the water.

The decision involves more than the visual appeal of timber. A buyer should consider the normal number of passengers, watersports or cruising plans, storage and the upkeep expected of a wooden motorboat. The dimensions and equipment of the chosen model determine how comfortably it fits that routine.

The LYRA catalogue includes the Boesch 860 Monaco Deluxe and Boesch 970 St. Tropez. The 970 St. Tropez is the larger of the two at 9.70 metres and develops the open-cockpit format for extended time on the water.
