Extra yachts
Italian motor yachts across Fast, Triplex, Global and Shadow families.
Extra Yachts is an Italian brand of Palumbo Superyachts focused on contemporary motor yachts with generous exterior living areas and a strong connection between interior and open-air spaces. Its portfolio is organised into Fast, Triplex, Global and Shadow families, covering different combinations of speed, volume and cruising range.
Extra's Fast, Triplex, Global and Shadow families separate speed-led, volume-led and longer-range ideas within Palumbo Superyachts. The X56 Fast and X145 Global sit at very different ends of that programme despite sharing the Extra name.
An owner should identify the main use before selecting a family: open social days, multi-level accommodation or extended cruising. A particular project's deck plan, machinery, range and build status then determine whether its published concept translates into the desired life aboard. The larger projects may need a different crew and berth plan from the smaller Fast models, even when exterior living remains central.
LYRA lists seven Extra models: X56 Fast, X90 Fast, X100 Triplex, X110 Fast, X130 Fast, X130 Triplex and X145 Global. The Fast line emphasises open decks and performance, the Triplex family prioritises multi-level volume, and the Global series is conceived for longer-range cruising. Dimensions, propulsion, layouts and project status remain specific to each model.
