Fjord Yachts
Walkaround motor yachts for open-deck cruising.
Fjord is a German-built motor-yacht brand recognised for open walkaround layouts, clear architectural lines and flexible deck spaces. The range is developed for owners who want easy movement around the boat, large social areas and a direct connection to the water, with open, sport and XL formats serving different uses.
Fjord's open walkaround format prioritises free movement along the decks and a direct relationship with the water. Open, sport and XL variants extend that concept in different directions, with differences in shelter and the time they can support aboard.
A buyer should picture the boat on an ordinary outing: boarding with guests, finding shade, serving meals and using the water access. Cabin layout and propulsion become more important as trips lengthen, so the preferred Fjord should be selected for its practical arrangement rather than architectural profile alone.
The LYRA catalogue covers the Fjord 490 OPEN, Fjord 490 SPORT and Fjord 53 XL. The 490 OPEN centres on an open deck and configurable seating, the 490 SPORT adds an outboard-powered interpretation of the platform, and the 53 XL expands the concept with greater space and layout choice. Exact dimensions, propulsion and equipment depend on the model and configuration.
