Franchini Yachts

Italian open motor yachts led by the Mia 63.

Franchini Yachts is an Italian family shipyard whose history began more than seventy years ago with wooden boatbuilding in the Adriatic. Its current motor-yacht programme combines this craft tradition with contemporary naval architecture, customisable interiors and an emphasis on open-air living.

Franchini's Adriatic boatbuilding background now informs a motor-yacht programme represented by the Mia 63 Open. Its alternative galley and two-, three- or four-cabin arrangements make interior configuration a meaningful part of the buying decision.

The owner should determine how many people will travel regularly and whether open-air social space or overnight accommodation takes priority. The Mia 63's layout and selected propulsion then show how well the platform fits that use, rather than its family history or styling alone. Moving the galley changes how guests and crew use the main deck, making it as consequential as the cabin count.

The LYRA catalogue features the Mia 63 Open. The 19.60-metre platform was conceived by Massimo Franchini, with naval architecture by Roberto Prever of Naos and interior design by Marco Veglia. Available arrangements include different galley positions and two-, three- or four-cabin layouts, with propulsion and performance varying by engine package.
