Italia Yachts
Italian yacht builder with Bellissima, Fuoriserie and Veloce lines.
Italia Yachts is an Italian yacht builder whose official website presents three named lines: Bellissima, Fuoriserie and Veloce. The Bellissima page includes IY 14.98, IY 16.98 and IY 20.98 among its sailing-yacht models; the company’s broader site also presents an IY 43 Veloce motor-yacht entry.
Bellissima and Veloce sit in different parts of the portfolio, giving an owner a clear first distinction between sailing and motor-yacht use.
Comfort over longer passages and sailing performance inform the Bellissima yachts, while Veloce introduces a different propulsion and deck-use brief.
Italia Yachts divides its current offer into Bellissima, Fuoriserie and Veloce lines, the latter including a motor-yacht entry. The sailing models and Veloce project answer different reasons for owning a boat, so the line choice comes before a length comparison.
For a sailor, handling and cruising accommodation are central; a Veloce buyer will place more weight on propulsion and motor-yacht deck use. In either case the selected model's configuration should be checked against the expected crew and trips. A Bellissima sailing yacht and an IY 43 Veloce motor yacht should never be placed on the same shortlist without that use decision.
