Lancia Aprea Yachts

Contemporary Sorrento-built motor yachts reinterpreting the Lancia Sorrentina tradition.

Lancia Aprea is the contemporary yacht line created by Cantieri Aprea of Sorrento. The builder describes it as a modern reinterpretation of the lancia Sorrentina, a local boat form associated with the routes between Capri and Sorrento in the mid-twentieth century. Cantieri Aprea says its family boatbuilding history reaches back to 1890, and its present Lancia Aprea programme brings that regional heritage together with contemporary design and engineering.

The range includes the Lancia 42, Lancia 52 and Lancia 52 Outboard, with further 32, 62 and 72 models announced by the builder.

The official pages identify a collaboration with Brunello Acampora’s Victory Design for both models and offer inboard and outboard configurations, depending on the model. Lancia Aprea also presents multiple layout choices on these pages.

Lancia Aprea reinterprets the Sorrentine lancia in a contemporary motor-yacht line. Its regional boatbuilding background supplies a visual and cultural reference, while modern design and engineering determine how the boat functions for an owner now.

The practical comparison concerns deck use, passenger capacity, shelter and propulsion for the expected coastal programme. A buyer should judge the current model on those everyday questions rather than assume a traditional silhouette implies a particular range or accommodation level. Inboard and outboard configurations can alter deck access and maintenance, so the intended version should be reviewed before aesthetic choices.
