Lynx Yachts

Dutch builder of YXT support vessels, Crossover yachts and adventure-oriented projects.

Lynx Yachts is a Dutch yachtbuilder founded in 2011. Its official range is organised around three distinct ideas: YXT support vessels, Crossover yachts and the Adventure series. The YXT designation means Yacht Xtender and describes a platform intended to expand what a parent yacht can carry or do; Lynx presents these vessels as purpose-built support craft. The Crossover line is positioned between that utility-led concept and a more conventional motor-yacht format.

The brand also identifies a Dutch facility in Nijkerk.

Lynx's YXT vessels extend the capabilities of a parent yacht, while Crossover and Adventure projects address more independent cruising roles. The different purposes make this a portfolio that should be separated by mission before being compared by size.

An owner considering a YXT should specify payload, tenders and support functions; a Crossover or Adventure brief will ask more about guest accommodation, passage plans and autonomy. Layout and machinery choices then follow from the role the yacht must perform.
