Mulder yachts
Dutch custom and semi-custom motor yachts, from Favorite series to the 36-metre ThirtySix.
Mulder Shipyard is a Dutch family yachtbuilder founded in 1938. The company offers custom and semi-custom motor yachts, alongside ownership services, refit, charter and brokerage support. Its current new-build portfolio includes Favorite 1500, 1700, 2000 and 2200, Favorite Fast, the 36-metre ThirtySix and fully custom projects. The range therefore combines a progression of named series models with larger superyacht and custom-build work.
All align with the manufacturer’s current portfolio. The shipyard’s brand material provides useful range structure and selected design credits, but exact hull material, layout, propulsion, guest arrangements and availability can differ between series, options and individual builds.
Mulder works across semi-custom series and fully custom yachts, with its Favorite range sitting alongside the ThirtySix and larger projects. The brand's history says the company is still family-led and has built a portfolio from 15 to 50 metres. Its current portfolio also shows how the Favorite series sits alongside ThirtySix and custom work.
Mulder's Favorite series provides several named sizes, while the ThirtySix and fully custom projects move into a different scale of yacht. The Dutch yard also offers refit and ownership services, but these are distinct from the new-build decision.
The buyer should establish how far a Favorite platform can meet the intended use before considering a larger or bespoke project. Route, crew, guest space and desired construction timeline help separate those choices; the selected yacht's plan and specification remain decisive. The yard's service and refit capabilities may matter after delivery, but they do not replace analysis of the new yacht's build scope.
