Saffier Yachts is a Dutch builder of sailing yachts with three public ranges: Classic, Elegance and Luxury. The Classic range covers smaller cruising and daysailing boats, Elegance extends the format toward performance-oriented daysailers, and Luxury is the company’s newest larger-yacht line.
The factory presents this project as the SL 46 MED | NORTH, the first model in its Luxury range. MED and NORTH are distinct deck-layout concepts: the brand material describes MED with an open aft-deck lounge and NORTH with a sheltered cockpit and dinghy garage.
Saffier's Classic and Elegance ranges cover smaller cruising and performance daysailers, while the SL 46 MED | NORTH introduces a larger Luxury line. The MED and NORTH deck layouts are separate ways to use the same project concept.
The owner should compare the regular sailing crew, desired pace and time spent aboard before selecting a range. Cockpit arrangement, sail controls and cabin provision make the difference between an easily managed afternoon sail and a yacht prepared for longer stays.
