Spirit Yachts

British bespoke sailing and power yachts combining modern systems with a classic-yacht design language.

Spirit Yachts is a British builder of bespoke sailing and power yachts whose design language draws on classic yacht proportions while using contemporary engineering and systems. The current official portfolio is structured into cruising yachts, power yachts, racing yachts and larger SY projects. This breadth is important: a Spirit C cruising yacht, a P-series motor yacht and an SY superyacht share a visual approach and custom-build ethos, but they are not variations of the same technical platform.

Spirit’s P50 Sport, C44, C65 and C72 cover power and sailing formats at different scales. The C44 can be specified with electric or diesel propulsion, while the larger C-series yachts have distinct cruising layouts.

Spirit's classic visual language appears on cruising sailboats, racing yachts, power boats and larger SY projects. Those formats share a bespoke approach but have different design and operating demands.

The owner should first define whether the yacht is for relaxed sailing, competitive use, motor cruising or a larger custom programme. Construction, sail or propulsion systems, accommodation and the degree of personal design input can then be judged on a particular Spirit project rather than assumed from its timeless lines. On a bespoke build, the classic appearance can hide very different modern systems, so the owner should inspect the agreed technical brief closely.
