XO Boats Yachts
Finnish aluminium adventure-boat builder.
XO Boats is a Finnish builder of aluminium adventure boats. Its brand material describes a model range organised into DFNDR, DSCVR and EXPLR series, with the EXPLR family combining an aluminium deep-V hull with protected accommodation for varied conditions.
XO's DFNDR, DSCVR and EXPLR series give its aluminium adventure boats different roles. The EXPLR format combines a deep-V hull with protected accommodation, while the broader range includes boats for more immediate day use.
The buyer should match typical conditions and trip length to shelter, helm access and passenger space. Propulsion, cabin provision and the equipment of the exact XO model then determine whether it is suited to short exploration or more sustained time afloat. The deep-V hull and enclosed spaces of an EXPLR should be judged against the typical sea state and the family's need for protected seating.
