Cam cleat
A spring-loaded cleat that grips a line between two cams.
How to sign
Use Dominant curved hand closes over rope in two short bites. The base or passive hand is Non-dominant C-hand: cam-cleat fitting; dominant R-hand initially represents rope. Place the rope across the fixed C-hand fitting. Close the dominant curved hand over the rope twice, inward, to show the cams gripping. Stop with rope visibly clamped in the fitting. Place an R-hand rope. With the non-dominant C-hand as the fitting, close the dominant curved hand over the rope in two short inward bites to show the cams gripping.
