Clam cleat

A toothed cleat that holds a line in a slot.

How to sign

Use Dominant R-hand: rope classifier. The base or passive hand is Non-dominant C-hand forms a narrow slot. Form the slot and hold it fixed. Place the rope directly above its opening. Push the rope straight down into the slot, then make one short locking stop. Hold with rope seated in the slot. Form a narrow slot with the non-dominant C-hand. Push an R-hand rope down into the slot, then make a short locked stop.
