A line or tackle that pulls a sail or spar downward.

How to sign

Use Dominant R-hand: rope classifier. The base or passive hand is Attachment point established; no separate passive hand required. Start at the object or sail attachment point. Move vertically downward with one firm pull; keep the direction exactly vertical. Hold at the lower endpoint with the line taut. Place the attachment point, then use an R-hand rope classifier moving vertically downward with a firm pull. Keep the vertical direction explicit.
