How to sign

Use Dominant R-hand: rope classifier. The base or passive hand is Non-dominant flat-B/1-hand: forward jib locus. Set the jib ahead of the mast. Start at the jib clew. Trace the rope back to the crew position, then pull in the intended direction. Stop with the rope taut from clew to crew locus. Place the jib forward of the mast. From its clew, trace an R-hand rope back to the crew position and pull in the needed direction.
