How to sign

Use Both hands establish several boat classifiers; then project CONTEST/RACE. The base or passive hand is Shared mark locus ahead; no single passive hand required. Establish SAIL/BOAT and CONTEST/RACE. Set several boats on one start line. Move boat classifiers in parallel toward one shared mark. Hold several boats at or approaching the common mark. Use the lexical SAIL or BOAT sign, then the lexical CONTEST/RACE sign. For a fleet, set several boat loci moving in parallel toward a shared mark.
