Nautor's Swan Yachts
Finnish sailing yachts and motor yachts across Swan, Swan Maxi and SwanShadow families.
Nautor Swan is a Finnish yachtbuilder founded in 1966, with its production facility in Pietarsaari. Its current offer is divided into Swan Yachts, Swan Maxi Yachts, ClubSwan Yachts and a motor-yacht division known as SwanShadow. The current Swan family includes 51, 55, 58, 65 and 73; Swan Maxi includes 80, 88, 98, 108 and 128; and the motor range includes Swan Shadow, Swan OverShadow and Swan Arrow.
Nautor Swan also maintains global service and racing-related divisions, but those do not change the model-level technical questions that need confirming before an enquiry.
Nautor Swan spans Swan sailing yachts, larger Swan Maxi projects, ClubSwan and the motor-led SwanShadow family. This is a portfolio of different yacht types, not one uniform expression of the Finnish builder's sailing heritage.
The owner should first choose the role of the vessel: performance sailing, longer cruising, large-yacht accommodation or a motor day boat. Within that family, deck handling, crew needs, cabin plan and build specification determine whether the particular Swan fits the intended use. A ClubSwan sailing brief, for example, brings different crew and race demands from a SwanShadow day-boat brief.
