Naval Yachts
Turkish builder of aluminium and steel explorer, expedition and custom yacht projects.
Naval Yachts is a Turkish yacht builder specialising in long-range explorer yachts, expedition vessels and custom projects. The company began as a naval architecture and engineering office before developing into an integrated shipyard. Since 2012, its yachts have been built at a 7,000-square-metre facility in the Antalya Free Zone, where design, engineering, construction and a wide range of technical work are brought together under one roof.
The range is divided into several distinct families. XPM stands for Extreme Exploration Passage Maker and is aimed at owners planning serious long-distance cruising. These aluminium yachts place range, structural strength, safety and self-sufficiency ahead of superficial explorer styling. The Luxtreme, or LXT, series moves into a larger category, combining expedition capability with the space and amenities expected from a luxury superyacht. Naval Yachts also undertakes fully custom construction and refit work.
The common design language is purposeful rather than decorative: strong hull forms, practical deck arrangements, substantial storage and interiors intended to remain comfortable during extended periods at sea. This makes Naval Yachts different from brands that use expedition aesthetics mainly as a visual theme. Here, the yacht’s appearance follows its intended cruising programme and engineering requirements.
Naval Yachts is most relevant to a buyer who wants to travel beyond established Mediterranean or Caribbean itineraries and expects the yacht to operate confidently over long distances. Choosing between XPM and LXT begins with the owner’s real programme: the destinations, climate, duration of passages, number of guests and equipment that the yacht needs to carry.
