What does the German yacht market look like in 2026?

← Back to Press

Discover the German-origin yacht selection in LYRA's 2026 catalogue: prices, compact size bands and leading represented brand portfolios.

The German-origin portfolio is concentrated at smaller lengths and lower listed prices than the catalogue-wide median. It contains 23 models from eight represented shipyards, with a €1.20M median listed price and a 15.32-metre median length. Eleven records are below 15 m / 49 ft and eight are between 15 and under 20 m / 66 ft.

Sixteen records are Motor and seven Sailing; all 23 use a monohull hull type. That makes Germany a focused comparison set for a buyer looking at compact monohull options, rather than a country portfolio spread across every yacht configuration.

Where the choice sits

Eleven records are priced below €1M and eight at €1–3M. Only four extend above €3M. Nineteen records carry the First Yacht tag, which makes the portfolio especially relevant for a buyer beginning an ownership search. The tag is a LYRA catalogue lens, not an independent certification or a complete ownership-cost assessment.

Methodology

Figures come from active LYRA model records captured for 2026. Listed prices are starting prices in euros and may exclude options and taxes. Counts show represented catalogue choice, not commercial market share.

LYRA perspective

Use this focused portfolio as a starting set for comparison, not a shortcut to a choice. The right decision depends on how the yacht will be used, the expected time aboard, guest pattern and ownership support. A clear brief can reveal which of the compact options deserves a closer look.
