As length increases, price rises and the selection narrows. That is not a demand forecast. It is a practical map of where the current catalogue gives a buyer the broadest opportunity to compare models.

The table expands the size comparison with model and brand counts, priced records, median listed price, median listed price per metre and length bands. It shows 128 represented brands in the 15–<20 m / 49–<66 ft band, 85 in the 20–<25 m / 66–<82 ft band and 53 in the 25–<30 m / 82–<98 ft band, alongside the step-up in median price from €1.80M to €7.70M. Buyers can use it to translate a preferred length into a more precise shortlist.

What changes at the key thresholds

The first structural shift comes after 20 m / 66 ft. The median listed price moves from €1.80M at 15–<20 m / 49–<66 ft to €4.10M at 20–<25 m / 66–<82 ft, while the number of models falls from 294 to 191. After 25 m / 82 ft, the field narrows again to 114 records and 53 brands.

The 50-metre threshold is a separate market territory. The over-50-metre selection contains 64 records from 17 brands, with a €72.0M median listed price. A buyer at that level is not simply extending the same search; both the scale of the yacht and the breadth of portfolio change.

Methodology

The analysis uses active LYRA catalogue records captured for 2026. One record represents one model card. Prices are listed EUR starting prices and may exclude options and taxes. Brand and model counts show represented choice, not production, sales or buyer demand.

LYRA perspective

Length is a helpful first filter, but it should not become the brief. Use it alongside time aboard, guest pattern, cruising plan, crew expectations and the level of support required after delivery. The data identifies where choice is widest; the right scale is determined by how the yacht will be used.
